Year 7 Update

Term three is flying by so quickly! Week two started with the interschool girls soccer competition. There was a lot of enthusiasm and excitement from the team, however unfortunately by the end of the day they were not able to net a win. They showed exemplary sportsmanship and support for each other, especially for students that had not played before. Well done girls!

The Yr. 7 badminton teams represented H.H.S and did us proud! They played multiple rounds throughout the day, moving their way up the ladder. Three of the boys went on to win the day for singles and doubles, and went through to the next round of Division Championships. Great job boys!

This term the Year 7 group were scheduled to receive their vaccinations. With many students apprehensive about the day, our health nurse Dana came in to deliver a vaccination information session and ease some anxiety. On the day there was a bit of hesitation but nothing a lolly and a chat with friends couldn’t fix. Great start to term 3, can’t wait to see how the upcoming table tennis and basketball competitions go.
