Catholic Faith in Action

This year in Catholic Faith in Action, our Year 12 students have been exploring what it means to be human and how they can contribute to the common good. As part of their assessment, students will undertake a service project designed to bring their learning to life through meaningful community engagement.
Students were involved in a variety of service activities, including assisting younger students at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic School, spending time with residents at Mareeba Garden Settlement Aged Care, and supporting the work of the Mareeba Animal Refuge. Through these experiences, they will gain real-world insights and learn the importance of giving back.
We are proud of our Year 12 students as they take this important step in becoming compassionate and active members of society.
