Principal's Report
Report from our Principal: Duncan Arendse
Dear Parents, Guardians and Father Arsenio,
Reports are one of the ways we are able to feed back student progress. They will be sent home shortly to mark the end of the first semester. Please take the time to read through and discuss with your child's teacher at the upcoming parent/teacher interviews. The key things that should be communicated are what your child has learnt, what they will be learning in semester two and things that can be done to assist. If you have any feedback on the process please feel free to let me know.
Enrolments for 2026 are nearly complete. We have a healthy intake for next year of sixty preps which will form the basis of three classes. Further enquiries are now on a waitlist and if demand is there I will run an additional tour.
I would like to thank the P&F for another great Trivia Night. Seventeen tables competed for the honour and the glory and the buzz was fantastic in the room. My thanks to Kat and her team as well as all who attended.
Our swimming program kicks off in earnest next week. I appreciate greatly the work that Caeleigh puts in to get this ready. It is quite the feat of logistics to move our school for the day to ensure all students are at the pool in time for their lessons.
We will have a number of ex-students around the place next week completing their work experience. Please say hello if you recognise any of them.
Lastly I want to wish Sarah (de Jong) in Art all the best as she will be off on family leave at the start of next term. I have previously mentioned that Ruby (Lowe) would be returning from leave to fill this position.
Sherree (Vulling) in Performing Arts has been granted leave for the semester as well. I expect to announce her replacement next week. Rest assured she is coming back next year.
Best wishes
Duncan
