Celebrating Holy Trinity Sunday
This Sunday, the Church celebrates Holy Trinity Sunday—a beautiful and profound feast that reminds us of the mystery at the heart of our faith: one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Trinity is not just a theological concept but a living relationship of love, unity, and community. As Catholics, we are invited to reflect on how the love shared within the Trinity is the same love that God pours into our lives every day.
At school, we help children understand this mystery in simple ways:
- God the Father, our Creator, who made each of us in love;
- God the Son, Jesus Christ, who walks with us and shows us how to live;
- God the Holy Spirit, who strengthens and guides us with wisdom, courage, and grace.
Holy Trinity Sunday encourages us to grow in our relationships—with God and with one another—rooted in faith, love, and unity.
Let us take this opportunity to pause and give thanks for God’s presence in our lives, and to recommit ourselves to living out that love in our families, classrooms, and communities.
A Prayer for Holy Trinity Sunday
Dear God,
You are three in one—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.Thank You for Your love that surrounds us, for the guidance of Jesus, and for the strength of the Holy Spirit.
Help us to live in unity,to share love with others, and to follow You more closely each day.
Holy Trinity, bless our school, our families, and our world.
Amen.
