Class 7/10

A fun and busy start to the year!

Students have participated in science experiments, music with Kerryn, dance with Sheri, swimming lessons at YAWA and adventuring out into the community.

Each morning, we practice and improve our hand writing skills. Our literacy program has consisted of reading, phonics and comprehension of texts.

We’ve been working on our addition at various levels and students have engaged in hands on learning, exploring capacity, length and measurements.

Students were lucky enough to be involved in the successful grade 5/6 overnight school camp out!

We explored the Enchanted Maze where students were brave enough to face the high ropes course and Tube slides. It was great to see everyone encouraging each other.

The following day students adventured out to the Moonlit Sanctuary. Feeding wallabies, kangaroos and ducks. We explored the sanctuary of all different native animals and were even involved in the reptile encounter.
