Dear Parents and Carers,

Last week, we celebrated our Ash Wednesday and Beginning of the School Year Mass. We were excited to induct our new Year 6 Leaders into their roles and welcome the new families and Kinder students to our school community. During the Mass, we received the ashes and were reminded of the importance of Lent as we seek to repent and turn away from sin. We look forward to building on our Lenten promises during our RE lessons over the next few weeks.

In Kindergarten, our students have been learning about prayer and the places we can pray. We have been learning a special prayer, the sign of the cross, and practising each day. The learners created a prayer space in the classroom and added a purple cloth to represent the season of Lent. We are enjoying learning about Jesus and prayer.
