Student Spotlight

The College would like to congratulate Jeremy on his re-election as co-captain of the National Boys Choir of Australia!

This will be his second year as co-captain and his sixth and final year as a chorister with NBCA.

As a chorister, Jeremy attends weekly two and a half hour rehearsals, monthly sectional trainings and biannual intensive music workshops or camps to prepare for gigs such as the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic (RMP) concerts, Christmas Morning Melodies, Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, NBCA’s Winter and Christmas concerts and annual local or international tours.

This year NBCA will be celebrating 60 years of singing and Jeremy will have the honour of leading his boys in the 60th Anniversary Gala Concert on the 25th of May at the Melbourne Recital Centre, which is a much-anticipated celebratory event.

Jeremy will also be part of the 13th world choir games which will be hosted in New Zealand this July. The aim of the world choir games is to unify people and nations through singing.

Congratulations Jeremy on this amazing achievement!
