Jazz Band Camp

On 16 and 17 February, Jazz Band slept over in the music building for our camp. We started with rehearsals all together familiarising ourselves with the four pieces. The boarding chefs provided us with dinner (a wonderful curry), and we finished off the night with another rehearsal. On day two we woke up and feasted on bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes cooked on the barbeque. We separated into two groups for more of an in-depth look into our parts of the music; the rhythm section going with Mr Patrick Elms, and the wind instruments with Mr Manson. We wrapped up with one more full rehearsal together and then finished up and headed home for lunch.
