Being Well at Magill

At our school, children’s experience extends far beyond the traditional hours of 9 am to 3 pm and the standard lessons. It's about nurturing friendships and fostering a vibrant community spirit. This year has given us numerous opportunities to unite as a school, with memorable events like Acquaintance Night and Sports Day highlighting our strong connections.

On a smaller scale, our N10 students have been visiting a local community garden each week. They’ve been actively involved in gardening alongside local volunteers, and parents have generously given their time to assist. This initiative has proven to be a rewarding experience for everyone, culminating in an exciting event where students will prepare, cook, and enjoy wood-fired pizzas made from ingredients harvested from the garden.

In other exciting news that also highlights our vibrant community, we are thrilled to announce that the Magill School Cookbook is on its way! After 18 months of hard work, this beautiful collection features heart-warming stories and cherished family recipes from Magillian families. It represents a remarkable collaboration and is sure to make a wonderful Christmas gift. Don’t miss out—head to Qkr to order your copy today!
