Cricket

The First and Second XI teams showcased exceptional performances, each securing impressive victories in their respective matches. The First XI delivered a dominant display to defeat St Stanislaus’ College, Bathurst while the Second XI outplayed Central Coast Grammar with skill and determination. Demonstrating teamwork and a strategic edge, both squads left their opponents struggling to keep up. These wins reflect the hard work and dedication put in by the players and coaching staff throughout the season, further solidifying the teams’ strong reputations in their competitions.

There were two standout performances highlighted: the Thunder Cricket matches. William Malone of the 14 Gold team delivered remarkable innings, scoring an unbeaten 75 runs to lead his team to a well-deserved victory. Equally impressive was Rohan Pradeeparaj, who showcased his all-round talent by scoring 55 runs and taking two crucial wickets, contributing significantly to his team’s success.

Baseball

Our Baseball teams put on strong performances, with the U16 team securing an impressive victory over Thornleigh. Meanwhile, the First IX fought hard in a tightly contested game but narrowly fell short against Five Dock. Both matches showcased the teams’ skill, determination, and competitive spirit.

Basketball

SPC teams managed to secure two wins out of five, up against some very strong competition in the College Gym. Congratulations to the 14C and 15C boys for picking up wins and to all teams for the hard work and sportsmanship on display. At Auburn Basketball Centre we were two from four with the 17D and 13 Black teams both securing strong wins and thoughts go out to the 15 Black boys who went down in a heartbreaker to lose by one basket.

While many results might go against us, the lessons learned, and the sportsmanship shown are something to be very proud of.
