Around the Grounds - Senior School

Food Studies

Year 10 Cafe Culture

Year 10 Cafe Culture students presented an impressive selection of high tea options as the grand finale of their unit.

They also designed and produced Halloween cupcakes suitable to sell at a cafe.

Year 8 Food Tech

Year 8 Food Tech students got to display their amazing culinary skills whipping up an End of Semester party. There was a large range of food from a variety of cultures and lots of sweet and savoury treats. A fitting end to a great Semester’s work.

Students tried to frighten each other with their creepy Halloween biscuits.

Year 8 Geography Excursion

On Thursday 07 November our Year 8 Geography students spent the morning examining the impacts of Erosion, Deposition, Beach Migration and Coastal Management on Half Moon Bay Beach. They did so by taking photos, measurements and completing a fieldwork booklet that they will use submit a report. A wonderful opportunity to give more meaning to classroom learning and develop future employment skills.

Senior Library

The Senior Library recently benefited from a generous donation by the Huntingtower Parents and Friends, allowing us to expand our collection of fiction and non-fiction books. This addition further nurtures a love of reading and learning within our school community. We’re grateful for the support of our Parents and Friends group!

Year 9 Media Broadcast
