What a Year for Chaplaincy at Bayside!
This year has been full of growth and transformation. It has been a time for me to settle into my new role and gain a deeper understanding of the school environment. I have focused on how we can better align with our faith and support both students and teachers in embracing and developing their spiritual journeys.
Throughout this year, I’ve had the privilege of building meaningful relationships with students and earning their trust. By engaging with them during recess, lunchtime, and even joining their classes, I’ve been able to connect with them in a variety of settings. One of the highlights of my role is the opportunity to engage with students at every stage of their schooling. I truly love my job and am excited about what God is doing in and through our school community.
Looking ahead to 2025, my vision is to witness God’s transformative work in the lives of our students. I am praying that our students will step out in faith and take bold actions. You, as parents and community members, will see tangible changes in our school. We are opening new Worship and Prayer spaces, and the Young Christian Thinkers Symposium is returning.
Additionally, VETA Morphus in 2025 promises to be exciting and impactful. We have inspiring guest speakers lined up, and local church communities will be running events to further enrich our students' faith journeys.
I’ve been on paternity leave for the past few weeks, and during this time, I’ve been praying earnestly for this school and asking God to move powerfully within our community. I am thrilled with what God is doing right now and even more excited for what He has planned for 2025!
I pray that you have blessed Christmas and Safe New Year Break and I will see you in 2025.
