Early Learning Centre

3-Year-Old Kindergarten
Orientation Sessions
It was with much excitement that ELC 3 attended their orientation session for ELC 4, 2025, meeting the new children and families who will join the group. New friendships began, and the children and teachers are very excited to see the group embark on their next adventure.
Music Station
Mr Mason has installed a music station that has been made with the VM students, using household kitchen items. The children have shown much curiosity and enthusiasm as they have been experimenting with the different sounds that the items make.
Preparation for the Christmas concert
The children have been busily preparing for Christmas, through creating decorations and paintings, along with Christmas-themed play. The group has been working hard to practise and learn the songs and actions for our end-of-year Christmas concert. We are very much looking forward to celebrating all of the children’s learning and growth throughout the year.

Calisthenics with Mrs Naomi Armstrong
"It was such a fun and successful session filled with music, stretching, and various interesting ways of using our bodies such as crawling on all fours, crab walking, frog leaping, crawling backwards, rolling and flipping. Children were kept entertained and enthusiastic for the whole hour. Thank you, Mrs Armstrong, for initiating and organising this event." - Emma and Jasmin
Christmas Concert
The ELC 4 performed a nativity called, ‘A Miracle in Town’ last Friday. It was a whole term’s worth of practicing, and the children sang with their beautiful voices and remembered all the actions. This was followed by a presentation for the children where each child received a personalised certificate and gift from their teachers, followed by an afternoon tea together.
Concluding 2024
First and foremost, I want to thank God for His presence in our learning centre. It’s been truly a blessing to watch the children grow in faith, knowledge and kindness. Our theme this year has been about discovering God’s love in everything we do, whether that’s through songs, play or caring for one another. And the children have shown us what it means to be joyous and to be the light in the world – just as Jesus has taught us.
To parents and families, I want to thank you for your continued support throughout the year. It takes a village to raise a child, and your partnership in their learning journey has been invaluable. We appreciate your trust, encouragement and the love you pour into your child every single day. Together, we’ve built a safe, nurturing environment where these young learners can flourish, explore and grow in faith.
To our dedicated ELC staff, thank you for your hard work, creativity, your guidance and your endless patience. Your love for these children shines through every day and it’s because of you that they are not only receiving education, but also a solid foundation of Christian values that will guide them for the rest of their lives.
I pray that God continues to bless this group of children as they transition into next year. May God’s love fill everyone’s hearts throughout this holiday season and beyond.
