Year 1

It has been a busy couple of weeks in Year 1! 

Students have been excited to bring in recycled materials from home to design their very own helpful robots as a part of our Integrated Studies unit. This morning students enjoyed a creative session where they got to build their own robots after working through the design process. We are so proud of our students' creativity and resilience and can’t wait for you to see their creations. 

We are all very excited for the upcoming ‘We are Authors’ sharing session and have been busily writing our own books using laptops. Students were able to choose their favourite style of writing for this task and have created books of poems, information topics and narratives. 

We have been blown away by their ideas!
