The team held their nerve with a fast-finishing Phoenix College winning the match 2 goals to 1 goal, they now qualified for the Grand Final against Mount Rowan Secondary College.

In the Grand Final the team got off to a quick 2 goal lead and added a late 3rd goal to go on and win the match 3 goals to 0 goals. The Year 8 Boys team was declared the SSV Eureka Champions for 2024
