Advent

Jesus, the Light of the World, Prince of Peace

As we prepare to celebrate your birth, may we begin to see the world in the 

light of understanding you give us. 

As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news 

the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. 

May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves 

in this season of giving. 

Mary and Joseph travelled a long way to Bethlehem. 

The red travelling lines represent this journey. 

The spirals show camping areas, because Mary and Joseph 

found a place to sleep in a stable. This is where Jesus was born. 

After Jesus was born, the stars shone in the sky, leading the shepherds 

and the wise men to the new born king.
