Senior School News

Mr. Lehane

In Reading over the past two weeks the senior students have been learning about facts and opinions, this has led to some excellent discussions and some interesting debates.

In Writing, Students have chosen their own topic of interest and have been researching this topic.  They have then started using this information to start writing an information report.

In Mathematics students explored positive and negative numbers as well as graphs and cartesian planes which required them to apply their knowledge of negative numbers. Students enjoyed playing a version of battleships using a cartesian plane.

Finally, it has been awesome seeing the senior students apply their leadership skills to helping younger students during our P.E. and Outdoor Classroom Programs. In our Outdoor Classroom this week students learnt about what a levy is before designing and making their own.
