DSC Athletics Day
On Monday 13th May is the DSC Athletics Day at Doncaster Athletics Track (Rieschiek’s Reserve). Students are to make their own way to the track and must arrive at 8:45am. This is a whole-school compulsory event and attendance rolls will be marked. A highlight of the DSC Athletics Day is the Year 12 dress-up parade. After the parade is complete, Year 12 students are welcome to return home to study. However students in Years 7-11 must remain until the event finishes (~3pm) where they will be dismissed to go home.

Push-Up Challenge
Our school co-captains, Harrison and Pat, are hosting a DSC Push-Up Challenge from the 1st of June to the 25th June. The Push-Up Challenge is a free mental health and fitness event focused on pushing for better mental health for all Australians. Each year, hundreds of thousands of Australians take up the challenge to complete a set number of push-ups that represent the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in the most recent year of available data.
Harrison and Pat will be encouraging students to take up the challenge when they present at year level assemblies. If anybody would like to sign up to the DSC community page, follow this link:
