COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS

Congratulations to Frankie W (Prep AD) who played in the halftime Auskick game during the Easter Monday clash between the Geelong Cats and Hawthorn Hawks.

Awesome to see you and the other Auskickers showcase your skills on Australia’s greatest stage, the MCG 💪🏼!

Congratulations to Eugene A (1BH) who took home gold for finishing 1st in Shot Put at the Diamond Valley Little Athletics Centre Championships.

Well done 💪🏼! We may have a future Olympian in the making!

Congratulations to Theo R (2LO) & Max R (6BS) who, along with their Northwood Falcon teammates, finished as Runners Up in the South Eastern Metropolitan Region U13 Softball Grand Final. To top this all off, Theo also received his Orange Belt in Karate.

Awesome to see you both knocking it out of the park! Well done💪🏼!

If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.

Camps Sport Excursion Fund (CSEF)

School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership.  All are a part of a healthy curriculum.  CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

The annual CSEF amount per primary school student is $150.

If you received CSEF in 2023 you do not need to apply again, however if you are new to Greenhills and have a valid concession card or have an additional child (eg Prep) that commenced, please complete the attached form (available from the office too) and hand into the office with a copy of your concession card. Any queries please don’t hesitate to contact the office.  Here is the link to complete the form :
