Performing Arts

This year in Performing Arts our students have been actively engaged in a variety of exciting activities. Our Festival of Music Choir participated in a combined rehearsal at Blackwood Primary School. Robyn from the Festival Team visited to assess our progress and was very pleased with how well our choir is developing.

Instrumental guitar lessons for select Year 5 and 6 students have been progressing wonderfully. All participating students are showing great improvement and dedication.

We've also been rehearsing and exploring digital recording techniques using advanced digital audio recording software. Additionally, students have been using iPads to explore fundamental filmmaking and editing techniques. We look forward to sharing some of their short movies with you upon completion of the unit.

We were fortunate to have the ‘Music a Viva’ group perform for our early years students. Their performance titled "Da Vinci’s Apprentice" was a captivating experience for everyone.

Our Wakakirri troupe is deep into rehearsals, and the performance is shaping up to be amazing.  Thank you for your ongoing support of our Performing Arts program!
