School Wide Positive Behaviour Framework.
Dear Belmont High School Community,
We are excited to update you on our ongoing efforts to strengthen our school's positive behaviour support framework. Over the past few months, we have been diligently working on developing a framework that reflects the values and ethos of our school community.
After consulting with students, teachers, and parents, we are proud to announce our set of school values: Resilience, Opportunity, and Respect. These values form the foundation of our school culture and guide us in our interactions and decision-making processes.
In addition to establishing our school values, we have also crafted a positive behaviour matrix. This matrix outlines specific behaviours that align with our values and provides a framework for promoting and rewarding positive conduct within our school community. We believe that by clearly defining expectations and acknowledging positive behaviours, we can create a more supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
As part of our ongoing efforts, the School Wide Positive Behaviour team is committed to further instilling these values and reinforcing the positive behaviour matrix within the classroom, around the school and in the community. In our upcoming house assemblies, we will be recognizing and celebrating students who consistently demonstrate resilience, embrace opportunities, and show respect towards others. These students serve as role models for their peers and exemplify the values that we strive to uphold at Belmont High School.
