Our Junior Performing Arts Evening is scheduled for Thursday 20 June 2024. Doors open at 5.30pm and the show commences at 6pm.

This is a showcase of all the curriculum performing arts classes and is an important event on the school calendar. The theme for this year’s Performance Evening is ‘Wonderland’.

Whilst we don’t expect parents to go to great expense, it does add extra excitement to the students when they can dress up in a costume and feel special. We are sending this information out now to allow plenty of time to source and co-ordinate items and ask that the clothing be brought to School by the end of Week 6  (Friday 7 June).

NOTE: Some class-parents have already received this notification and may be organising a ‘class set’ of costumes, particularly for performance items that would suit matching costumes.

Please see the below attachments as 'wish lists', of what style of costume would suit the performance piece for each class. Please ensure your child is able to move their arms and dance in their costume. We are also open to creative suggestions, should you find something more appropriate please let us know.

Thank you all very much for your co-operation in organising these costumes, and please contact us if you require any further clarification.

The Dance, Drama and Music Departments are really looking forward to this event.

Parents/guardians are asked to please email the Dance and Drama and Music departments using the following address: performingarts@tphs.nsw.edu.au should you have any questions related to this event.
