Congratulations to Alana Ryan, who has successfully completed her Certificate III in Business through Skillinvest with host employer Edenhope College.

Her dedication and hard work have paid off, and we commend her for this significant achievement.

Alana will now take a well-deserved break from her studies, and return to the farm. Some potential travel may also be on the horizon!

School ANZAC Commemorations

ANZAC Day is one of the most important days for most Australians to remember the sacrifices that our service men and women made through many wars, battles and peace making missions over the last 120 years. We remember the living and the dead and reflect on how important it is to remember all our history and learn from the courage and mateship emphasised in the ANZAC spirit.

A huge thank you, along with all the students who represented the school and their town during ANZAC Day commemorations on Thursday, to Chloe, Em and Molly for their wonderful efforts during the school remembrance on Wednesday. All the students were outstanding with the respect shown during the Last Post and minutes silence.

Hands On Learning

Earlier last week our Hands on Learning students learnt some new skills (thanks to their talented teacher Rachel Farran). They made some stunning wreaths for the College students to lay at the school ANZAC service as well as at ANZAC Day services around the West Wimmera Shire and a wreath for the Hospital. Fantastic work Baylen, Caleb Charlotte & Poppy!
