Boorowa Central School Leaps Forward in Education with Nearpod Sponsored by Rotary

Boorowa Central School is embarking on an exciting journey towards educational innovation thanks to a generous sponsorship from Boorowa Rotary. The school is revolutionising the learning experience with the implementation of Nearpod, a cutting-edge educational platform that transforms traditional lessons into interactive, engaging experiences.

Nearpod, a dynamic tool that seamlessly integrates multimedia content, virtual reality simulations, quizzes, and collaborative activities, is set to become an integral part of Boorowa Central School's curriculum. With Rotary's support, the school is now equipped with a subscription to Nearpod, providing students and teachers alike with access to a vast array of interactive learning resources.

The members of the Blue Mountains Astronomical Club will be returning to the Frogmore Hall on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 April. BCS students are strongly encouraged to come out to meet the astronomers and study the stars through a telescope. This will be a very informative couple of evenings where the night sky and what's out there in space, in our universe will truly amaze you. If you want to see the rings around Saturn or what Mars really looks like or even the Moon, this will be your opportunity not to be missed.  The astronomers will give a talk and guide you through the stars.
