LIGHTNING PREM

The footy has started early - even earlier than our summer sport's Lightning Premiership day.  Our Year 6s will be playing next week with the help of a few Year 5s in the girls cricket.  We played our last friendly today against Chelsea Heights PS. in our final tune-up for the District finals.

RUNNING CLUB

We had 48 students turn up on Thursday morning to the Running Club ranging from Years 3 to 6.  We don't leave the school grounds on Thursdays as Ric Mirabella takes the kids through their paces.  Ric is a parent and professional running coach.  His delivery to the students not only touched on technique and fitness but he also talks about life long exercise and focusing on being "your" best and not to compare yourself with others.  

We are so very lucky to be able to tap into such expertise in being healthy in body and in mind.
