It is another beautiful autumn weekend and I hope you are making the most of this wonderful weather.
Principal Conference
Mrs Barron, Mrs Stefanec and myself will be attending the VACPSP Principal conference in Lorne on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Douglas will be charge of the school in my absence.
Kingston District Swimming Carnival
The Kingston Division swimming carnival was on Tuesday 12 March . Nine students represented the school, they all swam so well and the competition was fierce. I was so proud of their effort and good sportsmanship.
Catholic Education Week
Yesterday, Mrs Douglas and Sue Crisp took 10 of our Year 6 students to St Patrick's cathedral to celebrate with 300 catholic schools the start of the 2024 school year.
It was a great day and the students celebrated in the Treasury Gardens after mass where they could dance and party with students from 300 catholic schools.
Year 5 camp
5GT and 5RC are off to camp this week. I am sure they will have a great time at Phillip Island Adventure Resort. Thank you to Mr Trutch, Mrs Carnegie, Mrs Davies, Frank and Rose for giving up time away from their families to take our year 5's on camp.
Harmony Day
On Thursday 21 March we will be celebrating Harmony Day and students are encouraged to wear a touch of orange with their school uniform. A Fire Carrier ceremony will be held on the oval at 2.30pm. Parents are most welcomed to attend
