What is the ROSARY?
The Rosary is a Catholic form of prayer using Rosary Beads.
Many different prayers are used when praying the Rosary such as the “Our Father”, “Hail Mary” and “Glory Be” prayers.
When praying the Rosary, we think about important events from the
lives of Jesus and Mary.
The Rosary can be prayed any day of the year.
However, October is known as the month of the Rosary.
ROSARY BEADS and PRAYERS
The Rosary Beads are divided into 5 sections.
These sections are known as a DECADE.
Each DECADE is a story about the lives of Jesus and Mary.
For each DECADE, we pray,
1 Our Father
10 Hail Mary
1 Glory Be
