Year 2 Dinner

On Wednesday 22nd October, the Grade 2s had our Year 2 dinner. 

First, we ate our delicious snacks. Then we went to the gym and watched an exciting magic show. The presenter did some really cool tricks. He made different items disappear, right in front of our eyes! 

After the magic show, we learnt how to make different items out of balloons. I made a hat, dog, jetpack and a sword. It was pretty cool. 

Then we ate our delicious dinner. We had fish and chips, and an icy pole. 

Thank you Ms Vo, Ms Portelli, Ms Myall, and Mr Fielding for spending the special evening with us.

Waste Free Wednesday

At Deer Park West Primary School, every Wednesday the school participates in Waste Free Wednesday. The students are encouraged to bring a lunch box with NO RUBBISH for both recess and lunch. This is a great way to reduce the amount of waste we create in order to make the earth healthier. 

Please assist your child/children in doing this by taking items out of their packets before coming to school.
