🚫 Reminder: Please Do Not Use the Bus Zone as a Drop-Off Area

We’ve noticed a number of cars using the bus zone in Simpson Street as a quick drop-off or pick-up area. Please remember this is not permitted and creates safety risks for our students, as well as congestion for buses.

It’s important that all families follow road rules and posted parking signs to help us keep our school environment safe for everyone.

For families who prefer a convenient “drop and go” option, please use our dedicated zone near the gym (corner of Inglis and Yuille Streets). This area has a 2-minute parking limit for quick drop-offs and pick-ups.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping all children safe.

Congratulations and Best Wishes to Mr Georgiou

We’d like to wish Will Georgiou, our Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader, all the very best as he begins leave to prepare for the arrival of his first baby with his partner, Meg. Such an exciting and special time ahead for them both!

While Will is on leave, please contact Narelle Sullivan or Jarrod Rodgers if you need any support or assistance with wellbeing matters that Will would usually help with.

We look forward to welcoming Will back in a few weeks and hearing all about his new little arrival!

Children’s Week Video Filming

Yesterday, 27 of our students took part in filming for the City of Ballarat’s Children’s Week video, sharing their ideas about what children’s rights mean to them.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to have their voices heard and to represent Buninyong Primary School.

We look forward to seeing the final edit and sharing it with our community once released.
