Inquiry

Our Inquiry topic this term is “Why do we need chemical science?”Science will be our main curriculum focus, with strong links to both Mathematics and English. Students will use the scientific process to investigate hypotheses about states of matter and temperature, exploring concepts such as irreversible and reversible change and physical and chemical reactions. Working in collaborative teams, students will plan and conduct fair tests by identifying constants and variables. They will observe a range of teacher-led experiments and also design and lead their own independent investigations based on a key question or hypothesis.
