Balambalam Primary School's curriculum will be designed to help students build a broad understanding of the world by connecting ideas across subjects such as science, history, geography, the arts, and literature.

When children develop strong background knowledge, they are better able to understand what they read, think critically, and make meaningful connections between new ideas. 

Families can support this at home by talking with children about what they are learning at school or kinder, reading together, exploring new topics of interest, visiting new places, cooking or gardening together, or simply encouraging curiosity through questions and conversation. Every shared experience helps your child grow their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
