Running Club News

We have had such a big year of Running Club at Park Ridge P.S. this year and we have achieved some awesome results! Here is a summary of our year at Running Club!

We had 257 students participate in Running Club this year which is almost 50% of the whole school!

We even had 8 junior runners (not yet at PRPS) and even a few eager parents running laps with us this year!

Collectively we ran 19,696 laps of the fitness track! That equals 4333.1kms which is the equivalent of running from Melbourne to Adelaide to Uluru and then on to Perth in WA! What a huge achievement by everyone!

Also a special mention to Jordan in 4-20 who ran 101km this year, our first ever PRPS to run over 100km in running club. Jordan ran the equivalent distance from Rowville to Geelong! Amazing achievement!

Have a Merry Christmas and a relaxing break and Running Club will be back again next year!! See you then!
