ANNUAL CEMETERY MASS

Cemetery Mass will be held tomorrow, Saturday 25th November, at 9am. Please bring a chair.

 

PAST STUDENTS & FRIENDS MEMORIAL SERVICE

Will be held tommorrow, Saturday 25th November, at 5pm in the school memorial gardens. Mass will follow at 6pm followed by cuppa.

 

REMEMBERING LOVED ONES

During the month of November, you are invited to place names of loved ones in the basket provided. This basket will be brought up at Offertory time. Names will later be burnt and scattered in the school Memorial Garden. Envelopes available for November Mass offerings in the gathering space.

 

RETIRED PRIESTS COLLECTION

A collection will be taken this Sunday, 26th November, for the Retired Priest Appeal.

 

THANKSGIVING MASS FOR VOLUNTEERS AND FATHER JOHN PAUL’S FORMAL FAREWELL

A combined Thanksgiving Mass for all volunteers together with a farewell to Fr John Paul, will be held on Saturday 9th December at 6pm. All parishioners are invited to attend to say “Farewell and Blessings” for Fr John Pauls next appointment. This will be followed by a Parish celebration. Parishioners may like to bring a plate however refreshments will be provided. BYO drinks.

If any parishioners would like to make a contribution to Fr John Paul’s farewell gift, they could drop it in the mail box or to the Parish office on Tuesday or Thursday.

PARISH FINANCE COUNCIL

MEETING

A meeting of the Parish Finance Committee will be held next Tuesday, 28th November, commencing at 6pm in the Parish Meeting Room.

 

RCIA RITE OF WELCOME

Last weekend we celebrated the Rite of Welcome for Belinda Fitzpatrick, who over the past couple of months, has been enquiring about our Catholic faith. Belinda has committed herself to preparing for full initiation into our Catholic faith this coming Easter. We ask parishioners to keep Belinda and her sponsors and families in their prayers.

 

CHRISTMAS TREE

This year we are invited to donate toys, toiletries, and non-perishable groceries for distribution locally by St Vincent de Paul. Please leave your donation under the Christmas Tree in the Church. Envelopes are also available on the Christmas Tree for cash donations or gift cards. There will be a box available to put these in. St Vincent de Paul will collect all items after Sunday Mass on 10th December. Thank you for your generosity.

 

ANNIVERSARY MASSES

If you would like an Anniversary Mass for your loved ones, feel free to contact the Parish Office (phone 5852 1026) to arrange a suitable day.

 

COMMUNUAL RECONCILIATION

A communal reconciliation will be held on Tuesday 12th December at 6pm. Followed by a cuppa.

 

CUPPA AFTER MASS ROSTER

A new roster is being drawn up for next year for the monthly cuppa after Mass on second Saturday and third Sunday of each month. Minimal preparation is required for this most important ministry.

We would love for more people to come on board. Commitment about twice a year. There is a clipboard at the back of the church to register your name and state your preferences.

 

CHRISTMAS MASS FOR PRISONERS

On Friday 15th December, Father John will be celebrating a special Christmas Mass at Dhurringile Prison at 4.30pm. Fr John would like to invite parishioners to join him, the prisoners and Chaplains for this Mass. If you would like to come, please contact Debbie on 0407 804 317 (AH) and provide your full name, address and date of birth before Monday 20 November to organise your visit.

MEN’S CHOIR

The men’s choir has restarted on the 1st Sunday of each month. Please come at 8am to practice.

 

RCIA INQUIRY NIGHTS
