Stage 3 PSSA Netball

We are four games into our netball season and both the boys and girls are doing well.

While the boys haven't won a game they have improved dramatically, having their most competitive game against Pennant Hills last week. They lost 16-6, but the way they have listened to what we have been practicing at training, and put it into effect in the games, has been very pleasing. From a team of players who are mostly still learning the rules it has been great to see.

The girls have won two of four games, and the games they lost were both competitive. Like the boys, they are improving. This week's focus at training was defence and rebounding, and the girls were far more effective in the game this week in those aspects of play. They won 23-13 against Pennant Hills in a wonderful display of team work.

Apart from our wins and losses, it has been pleasing to see both teams playing in the spirit of PSSA. Our main goal is not to win, but to learn skills, improve skills, and have fun! Both teams have been doing that.
