Uniform Reminder Slips

To follow on from the uniform reminders that were shared in Term 1 through INSPIRE, we are going to have a special focus on uniforms until the end of Term 2. Your child may come home with a uniform reminder slip if there are any areas of their uniform that need attention.  Common uniform items needing attention include:

  • Socks other than white being worn
  • Jewellery that does not meet the policy requirements. In particular, coloured earrings or earrings other than simple studs or sleepers, necklaces, rings and bracelets. Necklaces, especially, are a safety risk and so should never be worn.
  • Shorts being worn over the top of leggings rather than either shorts or trackpants
  • Hair accessories that are not school colours

To find out more about the school uniform policy, please visit the school website:  https://www.stpaulba.sa.edu.au/enrolment/uniform/

If you have any uniform questions, please direct these to Bec Mattner rmattner@stpaulba.sa.edu.au

Just a quick note from me to let you know that we are calling for expressions of interest for an after school AFL clinic (Auskick/Superkick). It is open to ALL year levels (R-6), and all experience levels. If we have sufficient numbers, the clinic will be held in Term 3, on Wednesdays (3:30-4:30pm) from Week 3-8.

Nomination letters were sent out to classrooms on Tuesday 11 June. If your child did not bring a letter home and you would like one, please get in touch. Registrations are due back on Monday 24 June (Week 9).

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out: kbartlett@stpaulba.sa.edu.au

Home Internet for Families

The Australian Government has announced that they are extending the School Student Broadband Initiative until 31 December 2025.

For existing SSBI families who have already signed up, this means their SSBI service will automatically be extended until 31 December 2025 (no further eligibility checks will be required).

For eligible families who connect before the end of this year, they will get up to two years of free nbn broadband.

To be eligible, families must:

  • Have a child living at home that is enrolled in an Australian school (up to Year 12 including Prep in Qld/Vic/Tas, Kindy in NSW, Reception in SA, Transition in NT/ACT and Pre-Primary in WA).
  • Not have an active National Broadband Network (nbn®) Internet service at home. Having a mobile internet service does not affect eligibility.
  • Live in a premises that can access the National Broadband Network via a standard connection – this will be checked for you.
  • Not have had an active nbn connection during the previous 14 days.
