END OF TERM MASS & REFUGEE WEEK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

STOCK THE PANTRY DONATION DRIVE

What an amazing week of donations we have collected for our Food Drive! We've filled our pantry to just about the half-way mark and we still have one more week to go.

I know that the people of St. Vincent De Paul will be so appreciative of what we have collected to help those in desperate need this very cold winter. We have a very special THANK YOU to send out to an anonymous family who donated a whole shopping trip worth of food items to our food pantry. This delivery was a beautiful surprise!

We have 1 week left to donate and fill our Pantry. Please continue to collect any of the food items listed on the poster during your travels or shopping trips this week. All food items will be presented to St. Vincent De Paul at our Mass next Friday.

This weekend's Gospel reading asks us to go inwards and think about the fears that come to us in our everyday lives and in our minds. We often think we go through it alone but even when we are most scared, Jesus asks us to have faith and believe that he will calm the storm in our hearts. This coming week, reflect and think; Do I call on Jesus to help me calm the storm in my heart?

May God bless you and keep you,

Mr Angelo Iacopino
