WALA

The Spirit of Ghana

On Thursday, 6th June, a group called WALA from Ghana, in West Africa, came in to perform for us. They played a bunch of traditional instruments, they danced and sang, and they included us in their fun. They chose some people to come up and dance with them, and the volunteers did very well. Then they asked if the teachers could up and dance and it was very funny! Overall, it was a very exciting and fun experience for Prep to Year 6s, and we all enjoyed learning about Ghanian culture. Bessie, Nina and Ivy, Year 6
