Social Media

We have become increasingly concerned about the impact of social media on the lives of our students and what they can potentially be exposed to. Please read the article from our IT Leader, Michele Jones, in relation to social media, and how you can ensure your child is equipped to navigate social media safely and appropriately.

HERRRBy Week

Last week students and staff all enjoyed a great week celebrating the HERRRBy values and the impact HERRRBy has on our school community. 

The students loved having our ‘real life’ HERRRBy join us for the Dance Off/Concert. All in attendance were thoroughly and brilliantly entertained by our Preps, Year 2 and 3 Choirs, the Jets and Rhythm Nation - such an array of talent we have at Gardenvale!  Thank you to Bridget Cooper, Casey Galinsky and Julie Pitts for their work with this lovely event. An extra big thank you to Tom Pitts for pulling it all together and staging the event!

We believe HERRRBy also had a wonderful time at the Gardenvale movie event last Sunday. HERRRBy has certainly been very busy spreading the word about the importance of Kindness! We are so grateful to Oren Flamm and Tanya Shulman for organising this fun event for our families!

Child Safety Reminder

We are very concerned by the numbers of students who are arriving well before the time that teachers are on duty to supervise at 8:45am. To ensure every child’s safety please do not leave them unattended prior to 8.45am or contact Team Kids to book them into before care.
