JS Parent Information Night: 'The Benefits of Unstructured Play'

Junior School parents/guardians are invited to a special parent information evening, focusing on the benefits of unstructured play for young children. 

Children have a natural instinct to bond with nature and living things, but the adults around them need to provide opportunities and set an example to get outdoors in unstructured nature play from the very beginning of a child’s life. 

This event will feature a presentation from Dr Kelsie Prabawa-Sear, CEO of Nature Play WA, followed by an opportunity for JS parents to engage in casual discussion and networking.

This is an adult-focused presentation for JS parents/guardians only (please, no students on this occasion).

'PINC' Parent Information Night - "Hand-in-Hand: Advocacy and Empathy"

TC's Education Support team invites you to the inaugural gathering of PINC (Parents for the Inclusion of Neurodivergent Children).

At this special event, we will welcome Claire Britton, Director and Principal Occupational Therapist at Neuroinclusion. Claire will be sharing an overview of neurodiversity, what the key principles of embracing the evidence-based neurodiversity-affirming approach and the multi-facilitated challenges and supports for the success of all students. By doing so, she provides a holistic perspective into the need for advocacy and empathy for the entire community at Trinity College.

"Life, Love, Leadership, and the Smell of Football Leather" - An Evening with Bob Murphy

From playing backyard cricket in 1980s Warragul to Community Cup with Paul Kelly in the 2000s, and from the joy of marrying his high school crush to the agony of a season-ending ACL rupture... These experiences and more saw AFL legend and former Western Bulldogs captain Bob Murphy sit down and write his memoir, 'Leather Soul'. The book explores how the country kid with a gypsy’s heart became an All-Australian captain and describes what it's like to have your club reach the AFL Grand Final for the first time in 62 years, yet have to cheer from the sidelines.

Bob now works with the Fremantle Dockers as Head of Leadership and as a Skills Specialist, in addition to providing support for the AFLW program. Bob continues to stand out as one of the AFL’s most memorable and unique characters; he has never been a typical footballer and cites his move to Perth with his family, as one of the best decisions they have made. 

This event is proudly presented by the Trinity College Parent Council.

2024 Auxiliary Morning Tea

The TC Auxiliary is pleased to announce that the annual Auxiliary Morning Tea will be held on Friday, 16 August in Gibney Hall.

This year's theme is "Bushtucker – The Food on our Doorstep". We are proud to partner with WA Good Food Guide, and Heyder & Shears to showcase our country's amazing native ingredients through an interactive (and delicious!) presentation by Dale Tilbrook. Guests will sample local bush tucker through a 'live tasting' experience, as well as enjoy other morning tea offerings.

Parent Information Night: 'Reinventing Fatherhood', with Mike Dyson

Trinity College invites fathers/father figures to a 'Reinventing Fatherhood' workshop, by Mike Dyson from Good Blokes Co.

This is a FREE workshop for men exploring what it means to be a father, how to be the best dad you can be, and the importance of quality time and human connection for men and their kids.

This event is sponsored in partnership with Ngala and Parenting Connection WA for fathers/father figures, including expectant fathers. Students not permitted.
