SRC Report
President Milly Wright
During the last 5 weeks, the SRC has been having our weekly Monday meetings where we discuss issues brought to us whether it is verbal or through the year levels suggestion boxes. We have had many helpful ideas that have delivered healthy discussions on how we proceed. On behalf of SRC we thank everyone that has contributed to the boxes with their ideas.
The SRC has been doing works behind the scenes to help the year 12 VCE VM group Milly and Lilly to advertise their casual day they hosted in support of the Jeans for Genes which is a fundraiser for treatments for those affected by a genetic disability/ abnormality.
We attended Sheepvention to promote the school and showcase the diverse offerings we have.
Our group has also been attending sessions with Mr Hill on how to perform classroom observations to provide feedback to teachers.
An event we had on Friday the 30th of August a casual day inspired with a touch of purple. The purpose behind this casual day is to foster supportive, safe, empowering, and inclusive environments for the LGBTQIA+ members around the world. Baimbridge is proud to take part in this day and support the members amongst our community.
SRC have also held the Halloween Casual Dress Day held on Thursday 31st of October with an interactive Bingo competition with prizes for students.
