Fundraisers play a crucial role in supporting various causes, fostering community spirit, and promoting social good.  The primary goal of a fundraiser is to raise money for a specific cause, project, or organisation.  This can be crucial for non-profits, schools, and other groups that rely on donations.  Fundraisers provide opportunities to connect with other organisations, businesses, and influential individuals.  Regular fundraisers can create a reliable source of funding, helping to sustain the organisation's activities over the long term.

Overall, fundraisers are essential tools for generating financial support, building community, raising awareness, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of an organisation or cause.

During Term 2, Red Nose Day was such a success fundraiser raising an incredible $2,103 for SIDS and Kids.

Another big day is coming up and this is our annual ‘Jeans for Genes Day’ raising money for genetic research in children.  On Friday 2 August 2024, students and staff can do their bit by wearing a pair of blue jeans and donate a gold coin donation!

Looking forward to the Oakleigh Grammar School community supporting this worthwhile event!
