Secondary Music Dinner

On Friday 17 October, we proudly hosted our annual Music Dinner Night, an exciting evening where our students, staff and families came together to celebrate the vibrant culture of Clayfield music. This year’s event was held at a the newly acquired venue, Nudgee Gold Course, providing a lovely night filled with laughter, talent and connection. 

The evening was a celebration of our students dedication and creativity. Highlights included the Players’ Player and Singers’ Singer awards which were special recognitions voted on by the students themselves. These awards not only honour musical excellence but teamwork, spirit and the genuine passion that our young musicians bring to every rehearsal and performance. We presented the much loved 'Most likely to be' awards which never fail to give a good laugh and of course, Mr Opstelten's legendary Kahoot, a music night favourite!

A big congratulations goes out to all award recipients. Your commitment, musicianship and enthusiasm continue to inspire those around you and make our music community such a special one. 

This year's celebration was bittersweet for the Seniors and us, marking our final night as the 2025 Creative Arts Captains. Reflecting on this journey, we feel immense pride and gratitude for the opportunities we’ve had to lead, create and share a passion with such a talented group of student and staff. However, we are equally as excited to pass down this role to our 2026 Creative Arts Captains Dana and Sara. Their creativity, leadership and dedication to the Arts will undoubtedly take the music community to even greater heights!
