Wellbeing

The Inclusion Action Team have been delighted at the response to the new trolley of sensory and calm games we have introduced into L’area degli Amici! Over the week, it’s been so lovely to see students using the space peacefully, including others, sharing the activities and being compassionate. Thanks everyone for your mutual responsibility! If your child prefers a quiet lunch or recess break, you can remind them to head over to L’area degli Amici where they can read, play cards, use sensory tools, puppets or just relax!

Supporting Our Students: Learning About Growing Up and Our Changing Bodies in 3/4 and 5/6

This term in Health and Wellbeing sessions, our senior students have started a unit about ‘Growing Up.’ The focus is on helping students understand the changes that happen as we grow related to puberty, learn about personal boundaries, and consent, and build confidence in talking about health, safety, and wellbeing.

We aim to help students feel confident, informed, and respectful as they learn about themselves and others. Thank you for partnering with us in supporting your child’s understanding of growing up and wellbeing!
