Pranzo Italiano #7 Many thanks to Freddy and Elisabetta (parents of Alma - Foundation, and Agata – Year 1) for putting together a wonderful experience for students making Pane Cunzato in the most recent Pranzo Italiano session. It was so well prepared, the food was so delicious, and the kids were all very engaged. You managed to bring a lot of smiles to kids' faces, and a bit of the heart and soul of your heritage and craft to share with the school community. We were all so lucky to partake in some of the Sicilian culinary practice you bring to your fantastic local restaurant, Bar Idda. Thanks for enriching our school community with your unique knowledge, skill and passion. Grazie mille to Oliver for coordinating our Pranzi! A big shout out to Alessandro and Bea (Cosma’s parents in Year 3) for creating the amazing resources for this pranzo! We appreciate all your support!

Our next Pranzo Italiano Club will be celebrated on Monday 24th November.

Complimenti to all our Year 5 students who participated in this year’s Dante Alighieri Poster Competition. This year’s theme was In Vacanza and our students created art pieces to represent this topic.

Congratulazioni to Estelle Shipp who received a ‘Lode’- Honourable Mention, and to Nicholas Mattei, Thomas Mattei, Gia Quinti, Gaia Mortera, Sofia Del Monaco, Tanni Namjvandan, Gabe Tham, and Bianca Barilla who received a ‘Merito’- Merit for their posters. What an amazing achievement! We will be receiving their certificates on November 23rd and then present them to these students at a future assembly.
