Dear Saltwater Families,

Welcome to Term Four, Week Six

We are entering a busy few weeks with lots of exciting activities ahead. Our 2026 Prep Transition program is well underway, giving our future students a chance to explore school life. Meanwhile, our students are enthusiastically preparing for the upcoming Carol Concert, practising songs and performances. It’s a wonderful time of learning, celebration, and community spirit as we reach the halfway point of the term!

Additionally, on Thursday, 18 December 2025, all current Prep to Year 5 students will take part in the 2026 Transition Day, where they will meet their new teachers and classmates for the next school year. Students will engage in activities within their future classrooms to build familiarity and comfort as they prepare for the new year. Parents are encouraged to discuss this exciting day with their children to foster positivity around meeting new friends and teachers. The session aims to boost students' confidence, helping them embark on the next chapter of their educational journey feeling well-prepared and supported.

Students Transitioning to High School

Our 2026 secondary students are warmly invited to our Transition Day on Tuesday 9 December. Students will begin at 8:45am on the Secondary campus (corner of Danthonia and Postema Avenue - see image below) and finish at 3:10pm. Year 7s will sample a selection of our elective classes with specialist teachers and meet their homeroom teachers, while Years 8 and 9 will spend time in core subject lessons with their 2026 teachers. We look forward to welcoming our new secondary cohort then.

2026 Secondary Information Evening

All 2026 Secondary families are warmly invited to our Secondary Information Evening on Wednesday 19 November at 7:00pm (Webex). Our Secondary Assistant Principals will walk you through life in Secondary, covering the daily timetable, electives, expectations (uniform and mobile phones), transport and safety (e-bikes/scooters and helmets), and how we support students and families. Please check XUNO for notifications and the Webex link to join. We look forward to seeing you there!

2026 Year Seven Families - Secondary Campus Open Evening

All current Year 6 (our 2026 Year 7) families are invited to visit our temporary Secondary campus on Wednesday 26 November, 6:00–7:30pm. Join us for a guided tour led by our School Leaders to see classrooms in action and explore our current elective spaces. It’s a great chance to get a feel for the campus, ask questions, and meet some of the team—we’d love to see you there.

Attendance Matters

With just four and a half weeks left until the Christmas holidays, it’s important for students to remain focused and attend school regularly. These final weeks are a valuable opportunity to consolidate learning, complete assessments, and prepare for the year ahead.

Consistent attendance helps students stay on track, reinforces what they’ve learned, and ensures they finish the year strong. By staying engaged, students also develop important habits of commitment and responsibility, setting them up for success in the future.

Term Four

Term Four is an 11-week term, running from Monday 6 October to Thursday 18 December 2025. We hope all our families enjoy the busy and exciting weeks ahead as we finish the year strong together!
