Year 8
'Have a Positive Impact'
On the 11 November, 31 of our High Achievers' Program students visited the Immigration Museum for an engaging poetry workshop. They were exemplary models of the school’s values during the whole excursion and created insightful 'erasure poems' – where poetry is created by redacting words from an already existing text. Students were able to view the 'JOY' exhibition in the Immigration Museum, which had many interactive elements.

The Sport Education in Physical Education Program (SEPEP) Module
SEPEP Season is in full swing, with students working in teams throughout the season to work towards a common goal - to be THE BEST TEAM EVER!
Students each have roles within their teams like coach, captain, umpire, equipment manager, statistician and journalist, developing responsibility, teamwork and leadership skills as we work through the season!
Step-Up: Week 10
Step-Up Classes will take place in week 10 (starting the 8 December), where year 8 students begin their transition into next year’s classes. We maintain our high expectations and expect 100% attendance from our cohort. Students will remain in their 2025 classes and will be exposed to year 9 content and skills, with any required holiday homework being communicated during this time.
