Year 11 VM Student Leads Guitar Workshop for Year 7s

As part of his Year 11 VM community project, Jake took the lead in organising and running a guitar workshop for a group of enthusiastic year 7 students.

Jake worked closely with the school’s music teacher and guitar instructor to plan the sessions, organise equipment, and create a welcoming learning environment for the younger students. His preparation ensured that each student had the opportunity to learn the basics of guitar, build confidence and enjoy hands-on musical experience.

The program was a great success, with year 7 students gaining new skills and inspiration—thanks to Jake’s commitment, patience and leadership.
