Welcome back :) 

Welcome back to Term 3! It has been fantastic to see our students return with such enthusiasm, energy and excitement for another busy term. The classrooms have settled quickly into familiar routines, and it has been wonderful to walk through the learning spaces and see students engaged, connected and ready to learn from day one.

One of the greatest strengths of Anglesea Primary School is the calm, positive culture that our staff and students create together. We have spent much work within Term 2 and this will continue into Term 3 around consistent routines, high expectations and strong relationships across the school ensure that students feel safe, supported and ready to achieve their best every day.

Foundation Enrolments due by the end of July

If you have a child or know of a child that will be starting Foundation with us next year, please forward your enrolment form ASAP together with birth certificate and immunisation certificate by the end of July.

Swimming Program Begins Soon

Further program information and permission forms will be sent to all families on Monday.

• Prep-Gr2 will take place at Torquay Starfish from Monday 17th August to Friday 21st August.

• Gr3-6 will take place at Leisure Link in Waurn Ponds from Monday 3rd August to Friday 8th August.

   

Looking Around the School

You may notice a number of improvements around the school grounds this term. Over the holidays we completed several projects including playground soft fall, improvements in storage areas, maintenance works throughout the school and grounds, removal of rubbish, and installation of concrete base for our new greenhouse that will be erected in the coming weeks.

We are always looking for ways to improve both the learning environment and the presentation of our school, and it's great to see these projects continuing to take shape.

Looking Ahead

As always, Term 3 is shaping up to be another busy one with plenty of opportunities for students to learn, challenge themselves and connect with others. Alongside our swimming program, we have a range of sporting events, camps, GPAC performance, Book Week Parade, Mini Fete and classroom learning experiences.
