Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

Term 3- Topic: Gender Norms and Stereotypes.

This term students will consider the influence of gender norms on attitudes, opportunities and behaviour. They will learn about gender equality, inclusion, human rights and the importance of relationships that respect people of all genders.

Research into the effectiveness of Social and Emotional learning highlights positive impacts in wellbeing and social and academic outcomes.

We encourage students to talk with parents and carers about what they are learning.

Child Safety

At all times, the ongoing safety and well-being of all children and young people will be the primary focus of care and decision-making, with particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children, including Aboriginal children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, children with a disability, children who are unable to live at home, international students, and students of diverse sexuality.
