From our Foundation Classrooms

Mad about Science
The Foundation students recently enjoyed a visit from Mad About Science. During the incursion, students took part in three fun and interactive science experiments that connected to our learning about weather and Earth Science.
The activities helped students explore different types of weather and learn how scientists investigate and explain what happens in the world around us. Students were encouraged to watch carefully, make predictions, and talk about what they observed during each experiment.
The students were excited and engaged throughout the session. The hands-on experiments helped them build their understanding of weather concepts in a meaningful and enjoyable way. Students practised asking questions, sharing ideas, and making connections to what they have been learning in the classroom.
It was a wonderful learning experience that brought science to life and helped students develop their curiosity about the natural world.
